Columbus, OH –The amount of media consumption is at all time highs due to the increasing accessibility we have to the internet. Very rarely do we find ourselves a stone’s throw from our computer and even more so with our mobile devices. While there has been a surge in multimedia as part of this trend, Americans also enjoy reading the news. According to Pew Research, 51% of Americans say that they enjoy reading, a number that hasn’t changed all that much over the past decades. But how we consume that information has changed dramatically – from printed daily newspapers to up-to-the-minute alerts on our mobile devices.

I still enjoy a good Sunday newspaper, but to keep up to date on the latest healthcare news I found myself navigating to a ton of different browser bookmarks everyday. On top of that, my social streams were being inundated with stories which ultimately became lost in the sea of evolving content. Having the same problem? Try Flipboard.

Flipboard is an app that curates all of your favorite content and social media streams into one interface. It feels like a newspaper specifically designed for you. It can combine your Facebook and Twitter feeds with news items from your favorite blog resources, serving it to you on your tablet, smartphone or the web.
